  New Features in DNS 9
This list of new features for Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 is quite impressive. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but they claim accuracy up to 99% now. They also claim that no initial voice training is needed. That's interesting.
The command browser has been approved and it really needed it.
They've also addressed the desire to transcribe into a PDA and then have that translated when you get back to your computer. I like that it syncs to a folder and is done for you automatically. I imagine some people may have an easier time transcribing without being distracted by the translation process happening on the screen.

This is one of the ultimate Adaptive Tech applications, a 'bionic eye'. The goal is for providing at least enough sight, for those with still functioning optic nerves, to maneuver around a room.

It has often been said that the advance in computers has been astounding over the years but it is exceeded by the breakthroughs in medical science. It seems sometimes that computer power is the only thing holding back the medical field.
